Now, add at least about 1 cup of table salt to the hot wok. You may want to add more salt if you have a large wok. For a 12 to 14 inch wok, seasoning a wok works well with only about 1 cup of salt. For a large wok, you will want somewhat more salt, but you don't need a lot more even for a larger wok as you'll be moving the salt around in the wok all the time with your metal wok spatula. You don't want to much salt that it may spill out of the wok or that you can't move it around easily.
